Mother, wife and business partner, our Grandmother Ethel Nancy epitomised the essence of family and community. As a community nurse, volunteer, and local sports and committee member she instilled in us the value of being a patron in your community. This wine is named in her honour.
TASTING NOTES
Striking aromas of lemon, peach, and oatmeal. On the palate are stone fruits and lemon. The prominent acid supports these fruit characters and the oak provides a richness that complements the fruit. An overall great balance.

Classic Adelaide Hills Chardonnay, with elegance and structure.

VINTAGE SUMMARY
2022 saw a cooler-than-average growing season that led to extended ripening conditions and retention of natural acidity. As a result, patience was required to wait for optimum harvest dates ensuring full flavour development and acid balance was reached Patience was rewarded with outstanding flavours and varietal definition with exceptional quality across all white varietals.
MATURATION
Matured in a mix of new and used oak for 6 months. Weekly battonage helped create a full and creamy mouthfeel and balance out the acidity.
CELLARING
Drinking best 1-5 years.
